It is important to understand that not everyone will receive healing. We are not always meant to understand God's will but we must accept it and abandon ourselves and illnesses to His Will. Only God knows why He heals some and not others. It could also be a lack of faith. Many people might just say the prayer with half a heart. You must abandon yourself 100% and humbly pray. Other times God will heal you in a different way than what you are asking for. You may have a physical illness for which you are praying for but your soul is in a worse condition and God may heal you spiritually and not physically. Other times he may heal you in all ways, physically, mentally and spiritually. One must remember that the most important healing you can possibly receive is that of your soul. Everything else is secondary. |
